CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Queries
      • Coding a parameter query is similar to the select query; the difference is that the select query is static and the parameter query prompts the user for selection criteria before running.
      • Code and test a AutoLookup queries.
      • Enter one value into a query; based on a related table, the query fills in the remaining values in the table datasheet.
    2. Form Design
      • Use the wizard to generate and design a form.
      • Modify the generated form.
    3. Subforms
      • Create a form and subform at the same time.
      • Create a subform and add it to another form.
      • Create a form with two subforms.
      • Create a form with nested subforms.
    4. Indexes
      • Test the performance benefits of using an index.
      • Create and use a unique index.
    5. Macros
      • Use the Macro Builder to create a macro.
      • Create a stand-alone macro.
    6. Macros: Adding Functionality
      • Create an embedded macro.
      • Specify conditions to control a macro.
    7. Group Macro: Creation
      • Create a macro group with several related macros.
    8. Switchboards
      • Create a switchboard.
      • Add and delete items to a switchboard.
      • Edit items in a switchboard.
      • Display the main switchboard on startup. n~Report Design.
      • Use control layouts to align data.
      • Add and remove report page header and footer sections.
      • Alternating line colors on the report.
      • Conditional formatting of the report.
    9. Grouping Data in a Report
      • Create a report that allows data to be grouped on a column using the Report Wizard.
      • Create a report that allows data to be grouped on non-standard numeric ranges.
    10. Running Summary: Creation
      • Use a DSum function and criteria in a query to create a running sum.
      • Use a totals query with a DSum() function to create a running total over a group.
    11. Date/Time Control: Inserting
      • Place the DateTime picker control on the form; then specify whether the user is to select a date or time.
      • Bind the form to a Date/Time field and the format for the date or time.
