CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Designing Business Solutions
      • Case study: Claims Reporting Systems for an Insurance Company.
    2. Gathering and Analyzing Information
      • Use the Microsoft Solutions Framework to derive Use Case statements for the Claims Reporting Systems.
      • Develop draft requirements from the initial information gathering.
      • Develop a usage scenario.
    3. Envisioning the Solution
      • Create the project structure document and analyze risks.
    4. Creating the Conceptual Design
      • Build and optimize the conceptual design.
    5. Logical Design Creation
      • Identify objects from Use Cases, create a Services Matrix, and create a Sequence Diagram.
    6. Physical Design Creation
      • Create a class model and a component model diagram.
      • Designing the data layer.
      • Create the datastore and implement validation.
    7. Designing Security Specifications
      • Plan for application security using the .NET Framework security features and develop authorization, authentication, and auditing strategies.
