CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Introduction
      • Review the screens and practice panel navigation.
      • Trap application errors in an online session.
      • Set interruption breakpoints.
    2. Testing and Debugging
      • Compile a batch program for testing with CA-InterTest.
      • Generate a ProtSym for a program.
    3. Basic Usage
      • Execute a program and examine program abends.
      • Identify the source statement that caused the abend.
      • Identify the cause of an abend.
      • Set unconditional and conditional breakpoints.
      • Set breakpoints when a data item is modified.
    4. Debugging Techniques
      • Use the Automatic Trace Function.
      • Display the Reverse Sequence Trace on a running program.
      • Set and display Frequency Counters.
    5. Database Debugging
      • Debug a Db2 batch program.
      • Display SQLCODE and SQLSTATE for a SQL error.
      • Debug a Db2 stored procedures.
    6. Dataset Information
      • Display control block information.
      • Display DCB data and determine the LRECL and BLKSIZE.
