DATES:

CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Data Stack and Queue
      • Use the following statements: NEWSTACK, DELSTACK, QUEUE, and PUSH.
      • Store information into a queue; empty the queue and store additional information.
      • Store information into a stack; empty the queue, and store additional information.
    2. REXX Components in Non-TSO Address Space
      • Code a REXX program that executes in batch.
      • Run a REXX program in batch; the program will list all datasets owned by the supplied ID.
    3. General Dataset and File I/O Services EXECIO
      • Read and write a dataset.
      • Code the TSO commands to allocate a dataset, enter user supplied data, and write the data to the supplied dataset.
    4. Advanced Techniques
      • Code the SHVBLOCK structure used for creating a linked list of requests.
      • Given a program provided by the instructor, invoke a program from REXX.
    5. Programming with REXX
      • Create and display a Dialog Manager panel.
      • Allocate the dataset using the Dialog Manager Service.
      • Display a full panel that enters data and allows anyone to view the data.
