CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. JDBC: Java Database Connectivity
      • Process specific SQL exceptions when opening a connection or executing a query.
      • Determine the number of rows in a resultset.
    2. CASE Clause
      • Demonstrate different CASE uses and clauses.
    3. Advanced Data Modification
      • Code SQL to specify the DEFAULT values for a column when inserting a row.
    4. Functions
      • Create and use a UDT in defining a column in a table.
      • Code SQL using different casting techniques.
    5. Row and CTE expressions
      • Code a nested table to simplify an operation.
      • Apply recursive SQL.
    6. EXPLAIN
      • Tune SQL statements by using the EXPLAIN command and interpreting the PLAN_TABLE.
    7. Tuning SQL
      • Identify the different types of isolation methods in Db2.
      • Code a SQL statement specifying cursor stability.
