CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Locking
      • Collect lock event data and generating lock reports.
    2. Monitoring
      • Obtain a snapshot of all databases in an instance to provide general statistics.
    3. Problem determination
      • Inspect a database for integrity, testing the pages of the database for page consistency such as an index to data.
    4. Parallelism
      • Observe the degree of parallelism used at run-time.
    5. Tablespace Management
      • Allocate spaces using Database Managed Storage and check current disk space.
    6. Data Movement
      • Compare the execution speed of an import and a load.
    7. Table Reorganization
      • Update table and index statistics in the catalogs using the db2nodes.cfg file.
    8. Db2 Stored Procedures
      • Invoke a built-in routine to execute an administrative command.
    9. Multiple Dimension Clustering
      • Identify the advantages and performance concerns.
    10. Automatic Db2 Utilities
      • Configure automatic maintenance and include backup and reorganization of data in tables.
