CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. SQL Changes
      • Become knowledgeable with MERGE and TRUNCATE statements and features.
    2. Database XML Enhancements
      • Learn the new XML functions and their usage including the sqlquery, XMLQuery, XMLtable, and XMLExists.
    3. Programming Environment Changes
      • Acquire proficiency with the new built-in functions for OLAP: Online Analytical Processing applications, including the RANK, DENSE_RANK, and ROW_NUMBER functions.
    4. Native SQL Procedures
      • Examine the new Native SQL Procedure Language, including support for the versioning of procedures, debugging of the procedures, and the deployment of procedures.
    5. Database Administration Enhancements
      • Learn the new restart improvements.
    6. Database, Storage Group, and Tablespace New Features
      • Demonstrate tablespace partitioning by growth.
    7. Utility Enhancements
      • Acquire proficiency with FlashCopy and tape.
    8. System Administration
      • Learn how to use the space index and in memory data cache method.
