Creating Storage Groups
Create Db2 storage groups which will be used in subsequent exercises.
Create Db2 managed and self managed groups.

Perform a physical design on the case study provided by the instructor.
Code and execute DDL; review and confirm the results.
Estimating Disk Storage
Given a physical design, determine storage requirements for the data and the partitioned indexes.
Controlling Access to Db2 Objects
Grant explicit privileges and authorities to a list of users.
Create field-level access control by views.
Auditing
Turn on auditing and review the audit data.
Format audit records to print and analyze.
Determine which security measures are enabled.
Basic Operation
Use operator commands to monitor Db2 resources.
Determine the availability of tablespaces and check pending states.
Monitoring and Controlling Db2
Monitor databases, buffer pools, and Db2 utilities.
Monitor threads for running processes and tasks.
