Relational Model
Learn the characteristics of a relational model and a RDMS.
Structured Query Language
Utilize DB2I/SPUFI or Db2 Control Panel to run queries.
Execute simple queries from sample tables.
Understand and utilize multiple table queries.
Execute queries which perform an inner join.
Execute simple data modification DML and DDL statements.
Utilities and Commands
Examine the characteristics of a relational model and RDMS.
Gather statistics, determine SQL execution attributes, and load and unload data.
Db2 Security and Integrity
Examine the attributes serving as the foundation of security and integrity in Db2.
Example sample control cards.
Review a scenario for locks and data integrity.

Become familiar with the current releases of Db2 and related software.
Physical Design and Efficiency Techniques
Examine the concepts and features serving as the foundation for physical design and an efficient implementation.
Given a basic system design for a funds transfer system, perform the physical design for an online real-time system.
