CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Administration Background
      • Acquire familiarity with the MQSC commands.
      • In Verification mode, create queues, change queues, list attributes, list statistics, and run commands.
      • In Direct mode run MQSC commands on a local queue manager.
      • In Indirect mode, run MQSC commands on a remote queue manager.
      • Create MQSC command files.
    2. MQ Explorer
      • Launch and configure MQ Explorer.
      • Connect to the MQ instance.
      • Create a queue manager, create a queue, create a channel, put a message onto a queue, and get a message from a queue.
    3. Administrating Objects
      • Monitor a queue.
      • Create a queue.
      • Clear a queue.
      • Display queue attributes.
      • Check the status of queue managers, clusters, and channels.
      • Monitor the activities in an IBM MQ system.
    4. Working with Remote MQ objects
      • Configure and monitor clusters.
    5. IBM MQ for z/OS
      • Use the IBM MQ dead-letter queue message handler to manage a dead-letter queue.
    6. Triggers
      • Invoke a trigger message and a trigger monitor to start an application to process messages.
      • Execute the utilities for listing the elements in an MQ dead letter queue.
      • Clear the dead letter queue.
