 CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. CICS Overview
      • List the differences between a batch and an online system from an operations point of view.
    2. Implementing Operations
      • Enter a number of commands on the console.
      • Reply to console messages.
    3. Starting and Stopping CICS
      • Perform a shutdown and cold start of a CICS region.
    4. Restart and Recovery
      • Utilize the logs to perform a warn restart of the CICS region.
    5. Start and Restart Operations
      • Run an immediate shutdown and restart the region.
    6. CICS /Db2 Operations
      • Monitor the status of the attachment facility.
