    1. Forms
      • Utilize forms and the related form types.
      • Implement controls for interacting with forms.
      • Utilize menus for presenting users with choices.
      • Acquire proficiency with Get versus Post methods.
    2. Entities and Datatypes
      • Use character entity references.
      • Become knowledgeable with HTML datatypes.
      • Use URI, URL, and URNs.
      • Use color and length values.
      • Acquire familiarity with and utilize link types.
      • Utilize frame target names.
      • Use horizontal and vertical alignment.
    3. Tables
      • Use elements for constructing tables.
      • Acquire proficiency with tables: <CAPTION> element, grouping columns, cell margins, and spanning several rows or columns.
    4. Images
      • Use <IMG> and <MAP> elements.
      • Specify alternate text.
      • Use image maps.
      • Add HTML code.
      • Use server-side image maps.
    5. Frames and Layers
      • Utilize layout frames and frame related elements.
      • Specify target frame information.
      • Acquire proficiency with inline frames and layers.
    6. Applets and Objects
      • Examine applets and JVM: Java Virtual Machines.
      • Recognize the capabilities of an applet.
      • Become aware of browser restrictions.
      • Utilize the <APPLET> and <OBJECT> elements.
    7. Client-side Scripting
      • Become proficient in embedding scripts.
      • Display information in the browser.
      • Utilize techniques for redirecting the user.
      • Recognize the implications of browser and plug-in detection.
    8. Automating with JavaScript
      • Implement rollovers.
      • Trigger rollovers from a link.
    9. CSS: Cascaded Style Sheet
      • Use the class selector.
      • Insert a style sheet.
      • Code for non-CSS compliant browsers.
      • Recognize the implications of <div> and <span> with CSS and HTML.
    10. Website Promotion
      • Become knowledgeable with the different types of search engines.
      • Learn how to choose keywords.
      • Become familiar with META keywords and META description.
      • Submit a site to the search engines.
