DATES:

CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Concepts and Overview
      • Examine client- and server-side applications.
      • Practice using editing tools for HTML and JavaScript.
    2. Language Elements
      • Code assignment operators used to assign values to JavaScript variables.
      • Populate an array.
      • Display the content of the array.
    3. Control Structures and Functions
      • Provide access to a HTML element in a page from within a script.
    4. I/O and Browser Differences
      • Invoke the alert and prompt to communicate with a user.
    5. Built-in Objects
      • Allow the user to enter data, store the data, and redisplay the data the next time the form is displayed.
      • Define a new object based on the array object and populate the object.
    6. Form Object and Elements
      • Display the information entered on a form.
    7. Using Images
      • Create a simple image slider with JavaScript.
    8. Data Entry Validation
      • Check that an entered form field is numeric and can accept a range of values.
    9. Debugging Scripts
      • Display an error and informational message in the status bar.
      • Instructor will provide a script with problems and designate the web browser debugger.
