    1. JavaScript Applications
      • Examine client- and server-side applications.
    2. Competing and Associated Technologies
      • AJAX features.
    3. Server-side JavaScript - Creating Applications
      • Code JavaScript to validate: 1- Data on the client for user feedback. 2- Server security for validation and synchronization.
    4. Web Application Development
      • Change HTML elements with JavaScript.
    5. Server-side JavaScript
      • Code a simple program using Node.js.
    6. MS IIS Retrieving User Data
      • Retrieve data from a file.
    7. Process Data in the Server-side Environment
      • Populate a list box from a file.
    8. Session Management Service
      • Manage sessions where: 1- there is session termination. 2- the user needs to continue the session.
    9. Session Management Objects
      • Examine standard built-in session objects.
    10. Session Information - Management
      • Store and retrieve session variables.
    11. Server-side Cookies
      • Create and access server-side cookies.
      • Remove a session variable.
    12. Database Integration and Connectivity
      • Open a connection to a database.
      • If an error occurs, display debugging information.
    13. SQL fundamentals
      • Select a single row from a table.
      • Select multiple rows from a table and create a derived column.
      • Perform a join operation; the tables will be provided by the instructor.
    14. Database Management
      • Code a script which will perform standard DBA functions and a backup of a database.
    15. File Input and Output
      • Input a file, and append data to the end of the file.
    16. File System Access
      • Read and display file attributes.
    17. Server-side JavaScript - Extending
      • Extend a base class in JavaScript using a prototype-based extension system.
