 CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
    1. Getting Started with jQuery
      • Code a skeleton web page to include local jQuery and remote jQuery.
      • Bypass the issue of another JavaScript library using the $ alias.
      • Remove syntax errors from a supplied page with jQuery statements.
    2. Using jQuery
      • Code a selector to hide and show an element.
      • Select multiple tags in a single section.
      • Based on an event, change the class of a HTML element.
      • Create a new class and remove the class.
      • Hide an HTML element.
    3. Basic Animations
      • Code and invoke multiple callback functions.
      • Use CSS to animate a header and menu element.
      • Code an animation that includes navigation.
    4. Forms
      • Get the current value of the first element in the set of matched elements.
      • Use the validation plug-in to determine if the entered data is suitable.
      • Use Autocomplete in an input field.
      • Enable users to quickly find and select from a pre-populated list of values as they type, leveraging searching, and filtering.
    5. AJAX with jQuery
      • Perform asynchronous HTTP - AJAX requests.
      • Force requested pages not to be cached by the browser.
      • Allow the current environment to be recognized as local, such as filesystem, even if this is not the jQuery default.
      • Set a timeout for the request.
      • Encode a set of form elements as a string for submission.
    6. Dialogs and Notifications
      • Create a floating window that contains a title bar and a content area.
      • The dialog window can be moved, resized, and closed with the 'x' icon by default.
      • Code and test a modal and a non-modal dialog.
      • Determine if a dialog currently is open.
    7. DOM
      • Demonstrate how HTML, DOM, and AJAX can work together.
    8. jQuery UI
      • Define and use a jQuery UI widget which is a specialized jQuery plug-in.
      • Control a widget lifetime during creation, initialization, and destruction.
      • Code a tutorial using accordion menus.
      • Create a horizontal menu with drop downs.
      • Use tabs to divide content into multiple sections that can be swapped to save space.
      • Display a customized tooltip instead of the default for every selected element.
    9. jQuery Utilities
      • Search using the jQuery grep utility.
